Wyatt to use Kohli's bat against India
England women's cricketer Dannielle Wyatt will have a secret weapon in her armoury when she faces hosts India and Australia in the upcoming T20I tri-series later this month.
Wyatt will be using Indian captain Virat Kohli's bat during the tri-series. Kohli had gifted her a bat during India's tour of England in 2014 and Wyatt describes it as "a beast".
Wyatt, who is a big admirer of the Indian run-machine, had last year smashed her maiden hundred in the shortest format in a T20 match against Australia but she broke that bat.
"I'm using Virat Kohli's bat now. The bat I hit the century with broke not long ago. So now I'll be using Virat's," Wyatt told ESPN Cricinfo.
The 26-year-old opening batsman was trolled on social media after she proposed marriage to Kohli on Twitter during the World T20 in England in 2014.
In April 2014, Wyatt had tweeted: "Kholi (sic) marry me," and had the Twitter world abuzz.
