Tamim to miss first T10 match
Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal will likely miss the first game for his side Pakhtoon in the inaugural T10 Cricket League which gets underway tomorrow in the UAE.
Tamim has already received a no objection certificate from the Bangladesh Cricket Board to participate in the league. However, the Comilla Victorians captain is set to appear at a BCB disciplinary committee hearing tomorrow as he was handed a show-cause letter for criticising the poor pitch, in the BPL'S Dhaka leg, during a post match presentation.
The-28-year-old was supposed to fly to the UAE today but will now have to wait till after the hearing to join Pakhtoon, who will play their opening game against Maratha Arabians tomorrow.
