SEDUCTIVE Sundarbans
The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest of the world and hands down the most stunning natural heritage site in Bangladesh. In the last week of February, I along with my family visited this reserve for Bengal tigers, deer, snakes, monkeys, pigs, crocodiles and different species of birds. Kotka, Kochikhali, Harbaria, Koromjol, Hiron Point are the main attractions. During my stay there, I enjoyed morning boat-rides in small creeks and canals of the Sundarbans, jungle walks, and saw many animals and birds up close. However, I wasn't lucky enough to see a tiger. I only saw the footmarks of a tiger at Harbaria. I think everyone should visit the Sundarbans at least once in life to appreciate the natural beauty, thrill and serenity it offers.
