Programme activated at another Ctg school
The activation programme of The Daily Star-Grameenphone “IGNITE” programme, a science competition for school students, continued for the fourth day at Silver Bells Girls High School in Chittagong city yesterday.
Bangladesh Navy School and College, BEPZA Public School and College, PH Ameen Academy, and BAF Shaheen School and College also participated in the programme titled “Introducing IGNITE”.
Students from Buet, Kuet and Bangladesh University of Business and Technology moderated the programme and also shared various scientific theories and mathematical puzzles with the students.
The activation programme will conclude at Agrabad Government Colony High School today.
IGNITE, a joint initiative of Grameenphone and The Daily Star, was initiated to inspire students of class VI to X towards science education through different projects, competitions and activities.
With the slogan “Science for the Internet Generation,” the competition will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Students of these divisions can register for the competition at www.ignite-bd.com.
