Prepare for polls settling factional feud: Quader to party men

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today called upon his party men to be prepared for the next general election resolving the intra-party feud.

“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has told me that the national election will be held after two years, and we will have to re-organise ourselves by the time frame,”  Quader said at a programme in Noakhali this afternoon.

Asking the party leaders and activists to correct themselves, Quader said, “Now your (AL men) duty is to uphold manner before the people.”

“Otherwise, all achievement will go in vain. I will not spare anyone if the intra-party conflict is not stopped immediately,” he warned.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in positive action for the sake of goodwill of the party, he added.

The district unit of Awami League organised the rally at Noakhali Zilla School ground to greet Obaidul as he became the general secretary of the party for his first time.
