AL to place 11 proposals in talks with EC: Quader

Quader said AL does not want to attain victory by defeating weak contestants rather his party wants strong opponent in the next general polls.
"BNP had made a mistake as it did not take part in the previous national election. I don't believe they (BN) will repeat the same mistake," he said adding BNP is a strong rival as it is big political party.
"We want BNP's participation in the next polls," he added.
During the meeting, the minister gave different directives for controlling overloaded vehicles and ensuring quality of roads repairing.
"Number of vehicles on roads and highways is increasing rapidly. Overloading of vehicles should be controlled," he said.
