Let 'Star Wars: Battlefront' take you to the planet Hoth
Star Wars: Battlefront looks like a battle scene plucked right out of the movies — only you're in control of the action.
Electronic Arts and DICE revealed a first look at actual gameplay from the upcoming shooter — something fans have been screaming for since the game was first revealed. The goods are up at the top of this post.
There was a Battlefront video revealed at Star Wars Celebration earlier this year; that showed "game engine" footage from the planet Endor.
But that's not the same as seeing what a player will actually see in the game itself — and the good news is this is just as impressive.
This five minutes of raw gameplay cuts back and forth between Rebel and Imperial action to give a broader sense of how a typical battle might shake out on either side of the conflict.
This footage comes from the level set on the ice planet Hoth, famously featured in Star Wars: Episode VI - The Empire Strikes Back. And it ends with what you might call the biggest match-up of them all.
Just hit play and enjoy. You've been waiting to see this long enough. Star Wars: Battlefront comes to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
