Tele-film “Joytun-er Chithi”
Tele-film “Joytun-er Chithi” will be aired at 3:05pm on the 2nd day of Eid on ATN Bangla. Salahuddin Lavlu directs the tele-film, written by Shahidul Islam.
The tele-film focuses on Joytun, a village girl married off to Selim who does not appear a suitable match to Joytun's elder brother Saju. He wants Joytun to marry his friend Belal. Complications ensue.
Fazlur Rahman Babu, AKM Hasan, Prova, Moutushi and Mouri are the cast of the telefilm.
Dance Show “Taal-e Taal-e”
Dance Show “Taal-e Taal-e” will be aired at 5:20pm on the third day of Eid. Hosted by Shameem Ara Nipa and Shibli Mohammad, several dancers –Shohel and Shokh, Hiru and Chadni, Biju and Shammi Aktar and Tushar and Jyoti will pair up to showcase dance pieces. Tamanna Rahman and her troupe will also present dances.

Film “Kajoler Dinratri”
The film adaptation of Muhammad Zafar Iqbal's popular adolescent novel “Kajoler Dinratri” by late Everest-conquering mountaineer Sajal Khaled will premiere on Channel i at 2:30pm. The story of a teenager's struggles as his parents go through a divorce, the friends he makes at a new school and an adventure in Sylhet makes the plot of the film. The cast of the film includes Tarin, Iresh Zaker and Tonmoy.

On the third day of Eid, mystery thriller “Oshomoy -- written and directed by Animesh Aich, will be aired on Channel i at 9:35pm. The play features on the tangles of time, and what results are reaped when things are not done timely. Cast includes Mamunur Rashid, Laila Hasan and Bhabna.

“Bhoot Samachar”
The telefilm revolves around a former teacher Dr. Kajal. She lives with Padmani, her university going daughter. Afraid of the spooks that she believes are in her living room. Kajal never leaves her daughter alone. Once a youth comes to her home. To Kajal he seems a ghost. The cast includes Suborna Mustafa, Bhabna, Sajal and Moniraj and others. Written and directed by Ranjan Aich, the telefilm will be aired at 4.05pm on the second day of Eid.

“Mon Jekhane Hridoy Sekhane”, directed by Shahin Suman, will be telecast on the channel at 10am on Eid day. The cast film includes Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, Misha Saudagar, Nirab, Aliraj and Babita, among others.
“Jadur Pencil”
“Jadur Pencil”, a magazine programme produced by Wahidul Islam Shuvro, will be broadcast at 9.15pm on the second day of the Eid. Singer Pervez, actor Joy Shahriar, magicians Ulfat Kabir, Shahen Shah will participate in the show.
“Rangbenga”
“Rangbenga”, a comedy show produced by Hasan Yousuf Khan, will be telecast at 9.15pm on the third day of Eid. TV performers Abdul Kader, Hasan Masud, Abu Hena Rony and Tareq Ahmed will participate.

TV play “Hey Nistobdho Purnima Jamini”
Written by Bipasha Hayat and directed by Tauquir Ahmed, the TV play features Tarin, Tauquir and Jayanta Chattopadhyay. A family drama about a man who loses his job, it depicts the conflicts with his wife and father, and his guilt for the death of another man.
The TV play will be aired on the Eid day at 8:10pm.
Telefilm “Ekti Oporadh Bishoyok Kolpona”
Based on a story by Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, the tele-film is about four youths spending a night under a banyan tree in full moon, and each narrating a crime fantasy of theirs to spend time.
Adapted for screen by Golam Rabbani and directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul, the telefilm will air on the second day of Eid at 2:10pm. The cast includes Azad Abul Kalam, Tisha, Jenny, Shatabdi Wadud, Iresh Zaker and Mahmudul Islam Mithu.

Songs of yesteryears in “Shonali Din Roopali Gaan”
A weeklong series of musical programmes (Live) will be aired everyday at 3pm starting from Eid day. Each episode of the three-hour long programme will feature both prominent and promising singers performing golden oldies (1950-2010).
Anup Barua and Shimu Dey (on Eid day), Aniruddha Sengupta and Debolina Sur (on 2nd day), Aloke Sen and Champa Bonik (3rd day), Atik Hasan and Nazneen Mimi (on 4th day), Sabuj and Nirjhor (on 5th day), Sujan Arif and Liza (on 6th day) and Suman Kalyan and Beauty Das (on 7th day) will perform.
TV Play “Ekti Bhalo Lagar Galpo”
Single Episode TV Play “Ekti Bhalo Lagar Galpo” will go on air at 7:45pm on the second day of Eid-ul-fitr. Written and directed by Moshiul Alam and Ratan Paul, the cast of the play includes Sanjida Preeti, Shatabdi Wadud and Rumi.
The TV play focuses on popular actor Imran who checks in at a resort. His charm seems to work on everybody except a young girl. The puzzled Imran talks to the girl and discovers that she intentionally avoids him. What happens next forms the crux of the melancholic story.

TV Drama “System” will be aired on Boishakhi Television on the third day of Eid at 3pm. Written by Muztoba Soud and directed by Tonmoy Hossain, the drama features the story of a professional embezzler, who cons individuals and corporates into parting with their money. The cast features Sajal, Momo and Raju Khan.

TV Serial “Jatra-Bhongo”
Six-episode TV drama serial Jatra-Bhongo will be aired on Rtv at 6pm, starting Eid day. Written and directed by Shimul Sarkar, the serial casts Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shaju Khadem and Runa Khan. With a Jatra troupe as its epicentre, the serial is a take on present day Jatra.

Romantic-fantasy-thriller “No Exit” will be aired on Rtv on the second day of Eid at 9pm. The hero is a cheat who dupes women. Meanwhile, his wife Trina learns about his shady activities. Written by Shafiqur Rahman Shantanu and directed by Nuzhat Alvi Ahmed, the play features a cast of Sajal and Moushumi.

Popular bands to perform in live concerts: “Ragna Raat”
Starting from Eid-ul-fitr night, a weeklong rock and roll TV programme titled “Studio Phone and Live Concerts: Ranga Raat” will be aired on Maasranga Television. Each concert will feature a popular band performing from 11:40pm to 2:30am every night.
James and Nagarbaul (on Eid day), Chirkutt (on second day), Miles (on 3rd day), Dhrubotara (on 4th day), Jal-er Gaan (on 5th day), Maksud and Dhaka (on 6th day), Sajib and Koyar Bangla (on 7th day) will perform live music and receive telephone calls from fans and audience with Nabila as emcee.
Single episode TV Play “Chili Chocolate”
Single episode TV Play “Chili Chocolate” will go on air at 7:40pm on the 2nd day of Eid. Written by Adnan and Rubayet Mahmud, the TV play is directed by Mahmud.
The play zooms in on a frustrated Arnob who tries to commit suicide by throwing himself under a car driven by Era. Arnob is in love with Era, a passion that seems unrequited.
Iresh Zaker and Bidya Sinha Meem don the lead roles in the play.

Written by Syed Zia Uddin and directed by Golam Moktadir San, the telefilm is about a single man engulfed by Jibananda's poetry and the women described in them. His real life goes haywire as his obsession grows into madness, and he cannot differentiate between reality and fantasy.
The tele-film featuring Tauquir Ahmed, Nawshaba, Emon and Maria, will be telecast on Eid day at 2:35pm.
Celebrity Dance Programme “Dance with Divas”
Special celebrity dance programme “Dance with Divas” will be aired on the second day of Eid at 9:35pm. The participants are Shokh, Mehzabien, Mimo, Hasin, Moushumi Hamid, Nisa, Tisha and Sporshia.

Game Show “Bike Master”
A unique new game show, featuring motorbike stuntmen, will be aired on Gtv on the third day of Eid at 8:15pm. A total of 15 riders, divided in three groups, will display their skills with the bike on the show. A number of other entertaining games will also be on the programme. Popular ramp model Azra Mahmud will host the show, produced by Rahat Ahmed.

The story of a radio jockey, her biggest fan and her sister make the plot of “Shudhu Ekta Minute”, written by Rumman Rashid Khan and directed by Ziauddin Alam. With a cast featuring Sajal, Momo, Nawshin, Shokh and Faria, it will be telecast on the second day of Eid on Gtv at 3:30pm.

“Sakrain” will be aired on SA TV on the second day of Eid at 9:30pm. Written by Sagor Jahan and directed by Moniruzzaman Lipon, the drama revolves around Sakrain — a kite festival of Old Dhaka. The cast includes Rawnak Hasan, Sumaiya Shimu and Shamima Nazreen.
