Kazi Jahan Ara's death anniversary

The 12th death anniversary of Kazi Jahan Ara Begum, teacher of Armanitola New Govt Girls High School and wife of National Awami Party (NAP) leader late Advocate Kazi Jahirul Haque, will be observed today at 22/A BUET Teachers Quarter, Bakshi Bazar, Dhaka after Maghrib prayers.

A milad-mahfil will also be held to pray for the departed soul, said a press release. 

Dr Jesmin Chowdhury, editor-in-chief of the Daily Asian Age, and daughter of Kazi Jahan Ara requested all to attend the programme, the release added.
