Two killed in road accident

Two people were killed and 16 others injured in a road accident in Dinajpur yesterday.
Most of the injured were candidates of yesterday's teacher registration examination, police said.
One of the dead was identified as Rabin Chandra Barman, 32, but the identity of the other, aged around 30, could not be known immediately.
The accident occurred when a Dinajpur-bound bus lost control near Dinajpur Government College intersection and fell into a roadside ditch before hitting a tree.
The injured were rushed to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
Eight of them left the hospital after receiving first aid.
However, Md Rabiul Alam, 30, Al Mamun, 25, Sayedee, 20, Babul, 30, Afsana Begum, 30, Adam Sufee, 22, Arfan and Biplob, 25, were undergoing treatment at the same hospital till filing of the report.
