Baishakhi celebration at Bashundhara Convention Centre

To celebrate the Bangla New Year, Adscience Ltd organised a colourful cultural programme titled 'Baishakhi Jhar” at the Bashundhara Convention Centre on Pahela Baishakh (April 14). The highlight of the programme was performances by popular bands 'Souls' and 'Feedback'. Adscience has been arranging New Year celebration programmes since 2003.
The event started with recitation by Ahkamullah Ahkam. A fashion show highlighting traditional Baishakhi outfits was next. Models displayed saris and fatuas highlighting colours of the season -- red and white. Zia was the choreographer of the fashion show.
'Souls' started their performance with the all-time hit E emon parichoy. Other songs performed by the band included Mon shudhu mon chhuyechhey, Mukhorito jibon, Dekha hobey bondhu, Shara din tomaye bhebey and more.
Feedback took the stage next and performed Moushumi. Feedback's other renditions included Majhi, Udashi ei mon-e, Mon-e porey tomaye and more. Feedback wrapped up the programme with their popular song of Baishakh -- Melaye jairey.
