Happy with a draw
There may have been only two goals scored in the Bayern Munich-Borussia Dortmund draw, but the showdown of Germany's top two teams lived up to its top billing.
"I think it was a great football match with two teams who really gave the other team all they could handle," said Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp after the 1-1 result in Munich, which leaves two-time reigning champs Dortmund in third place with 27 points -- 11 points behind leaders Bayern.
"It was a very intense game with a lot of drama and a lot of good chances. Both teams play modern football and played very tactically strong football," added Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes.
Dortmund were satisfied with the draw, especially after Bayern missed three top-notch chances in the final five minutes thanks to superb stops by Dortmund keeper Roman Weidenfeller.
