DU signs MoU with Pak university

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Pakistan's Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and the University of Dhaka (DU) in Bahawalpur last week for bilateral cooperation in the field of education and research, says a press release.
Under the MoU, both the universities will exchange academics and students and cooperate in the field of teaching, research and holding seminars and conferences.
IUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Belal A Khan and DU Treasurer Prof Syed Abul Kalam Azad signed the MoU on behalf of the two institutions.
VC Belal appreciated IUB Chairman of media studies department Prof M Jahangir Kabir, who is a Bangladeshi, for his efforts in reaching the deal.
