BAY LEASING & INVESTMENT
The company will be placed in "A" category from "N" with effect from today as it reported a disbursement of 50 percent stock dividend for 2009.

EASTERN LUBRICANTS
In line with unaudited quarterly accounts for the third quarter to March 31, the company reported net profit of Tk 1.56 million with earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 1.57 against Tk 2.13 million and Tk 2.14 for the same period of the previous year. Net profit was Tk 4.17 million with EPS of Tk 4.19 for the period of nine months to March 31 against Tk 3.13 million and Tk 3.14 for the same period of the previous year.

RAHIMA FOOD
Trading of shares of the company will be allowed only on the spot market (block/odd lot transactions will also be settled as per spot settlement cycle yesterday and trading will remain suspended on Thursday, Sunday and Monday for finalisation of Demat process. Trading resumes in Demat form Tuesday.

PHARMA AIDS
The Securities and Exchange Commission served notice on the company, directors, managing director and company secretary for non-compliance of securities related laws in connection with the matter of non-submission of the capital and shareholding position for February, March and April of 2010.

SANDHANI LIFE INSURANCE
The insurer said a board meeting would be held on Thursday at 3:15pm. The meeting will consider, among others, audited financial statements, as of December 31, 2009.
