Mamata attacking Modi to woo Bangladeshi infiltrators: BJP
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arun Jaitley, candidate in West Bengal for the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, yesterday termed “illegal infiltrators from Bangladesh” as the “mainstay” of electoral calculations for its Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Jaitley made the comment ahead of the last phase of polling in West Bengal, local daily Indian Express reports today.
Mentioning Mamata, Jaitley alleged, “She has only three votes left: Firstly, the traditional Trinamool supporters, secondly the goons who have moved from the Left to her side and thirdly the illegal infiltrators from Bangladesh.”
It is the last of these votes which is “Didi”s mainstay. For this cause she has to justify infiltration and abuse Modi,” the BJP leader said.
Jaitley suggested that Mamata was crossing the “laxman rekha” to attack Modi to woo illegal infiltrators, the daily reports.
