AN EVENING OF GHAZAL

Acclaimed classical singer Manzurul Islam Khan was a student of the Ghazal exponent, Jagjit Singh, albeit for a short time. Khan intends to continue singing as long as he can and contribute to the artistry of Bangla Ghazals, bringing in a variation in its rendition. His latest studio album was released earlier this year from Agniveena, a major record label in Bangladesh.

Inspired by their love for theatre, 'Open Space Theatre' was formed in January 2017. Their youthful team relentlessly practices to bring out the most honest, open, and vivid theatrical performances possible. Their first production, '12 Angry Men', is a masterpiece by the American film writer, Reginald Rose. Their previous 12 shows received tremendous response from the audience.

'Joloj' is an endeavour by artists Al-Akhir Sarker, Biplob Chakroborty, Golam Moshiur Rahman Choudhury, Md. Azmal Uddin, Sadek Ahmed and Shaymal Biswas. The fourth edition of 'Joloj' continues the series of exhibitions with a central theme of 'the water around us', that started in 2015.
THE BANGU VEGAN BRUNCH

What thoughts do the word "brunch" evoke in you? For us, it's sleeping in on a Saturday, spending a lazy morning in bed and then heading out for a hot meal that is as much as a breakfast as it is lunch. The menu is both sweet and savoury, and has all the classic brunch items with a Bangu twist on it. Expect to find classic French toast with bananas and molasses drizzled on top, loaded hash browns - Bangu style, mughlai paratha, spinach and cashew cheese crepes, mushroom quiche, carrot muffins, pumpkin spice latte. Accomodation is for 30 people only, and they have a first come first served policy.
