Dress your lips

I swallowed down my newest shade of lipstick, In hopes of bringing some colour back to my soul again. - Kataleya
Dress your lips

When you look in the mirror to glance at your own reflection, what is the first thing that catches your eye? Is it your soul staring back through dilating pupils? For me, it's always the lips – dry lips, wet lips, bare lips, or coloured lips!

Lips are the key to a perfect smile. Whether or not, if someone will fall in love with your smile is thought for later, your lips however do need to be dressed to perfection. That gorgeous and flawlessness can be created best with matte lipsticks at your aid.

Here are few that will catch your attention:

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS LIQUID LIPSTICK

Maybe this can be relatively considered one of the high-end brands. The formula of this lipstick is quite impressive. It is not too watery or too creamy and the best thing about this lipstick is that it's odourless, which is quite rare as lipsticks go. It dries off instantly and comes in 22 shades.

MILANI AMORE METALLIC LIP CRÈME

Unlike, most brands Milani Amore introduced a new way to finally try out glitter lips without the mess. One does not need to break out the sparkly stuff to make your lips look lusty with sheen. Just one swipe of this liquid lipstick will do the trick.

HUDA BEAUTY LIQUID MATTE

This edition of Huda Beauty strikes the perfect balance between long lasting formulas that's also non-drying. After applying, the lightweight lipstick has slight sheen but this dries down to a matte finish in 15 seconds. They stock in 16 shades of beautiful range of hues, more importantly, they are also available in packages of 4 to 5 mini liquid matte lipsticks which are more feasible and budget friendly.

SLEEK MATTE ME ULTRA SMOOTH MATTE LIP CREAM

Another budget friendly lipstick that will dry off in a matter of few seconds and consists of 12 shades neutral to dark inky colours.

COLOURPOP ULTRA MATTE LIP

In the past one year, this brand has virtually stolen the hearts of all those who cherished lipstick. Although this is one of the least expensive on our list, it's also the most matte, with serious colour payoff. Plus, ColourPop has recently introduces five new peach lipsticks all of which complement a slew of skin tones. Besides that, the top trending shades remain to be viper, bumble, limbo and avenue.

NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CRÈME

Nyx is a brand unique to giving names for the lipsticks according to different destination and their culture. The shades are lovely. They glide on so smooth and smell like vanilla on cake frosting. The colour range is phenomenal, from lights all the way to super darks. I love the dark wine Copenhagen, red Monte Carlo, Stockholm, and the super-dark vampy shades, like black Transylvania and Vancouver to neutral and nude colours like Dubai and London.

JORDANA SWEET CREAM MATTE

I recall picking up this lipstick almost accidentally in a store and I am so glad I did.  If you are searching for full colour all day, this is what you need. This looks best when lined with a liner of same colour and voila! There you have it, effortless perfect lip that will look great until you decide to take it off.

Globalisation has brought nearly everything within the reach of our hands but even then, we are at the risk of fakes, dupes and lack of authenticity. With such peril lingering on our mind, it can be quite difficult to spot the stores or platform that will always provide you with the original merchandise.
