Premium crafts by nature
When it comes to weddings, you do not leave any stone unturned, do you? From stage decor to the most minor of details, everything needs to be picture-perfect and extraordinary. But one aspect which often becomes commonplace and uninspiring is the invitation card.
Yes, these days we sometimes receive cards which is by its own right is nothing less than a box, with things like candies inside! But, how can you add more profundity and thought to the card itself?
Greetings Studio – a brand which makes invitation cards, wall decor items, and photo frames with the creative use of wood and paper – stands apart, and hence may be your answer.
WELCOME TO GREETINGS STUDIO!
Symon Imran Hyder, who is the Chairman of Symon AnMi (under which Greetings Studio is a concern), is set to revolutionise the greetings cards industry.
"We would like to see ourselves as a handicrafts manufacturer," he informs. "When people think of handicrafts, the notion of historicity and heritage comes up quite naturally. However, newer types of handicrafts can also emerge. We blend creativity, craftsmanship, and technology to create unique cards, photo frames and gift items."
The company makes these by primarily relying on wood and paper. And perhaps the best part is that it uses recycled wood.
Currently, Hyder says, Greetings Studio is the only brand in the Bangladesh cards market offering this concept of wood-work and craftsmanship – and hence their tagline, 'Premium crafts by nature'.
RSVP, ANYONE?
Be it cards for invitation or greeting, the brand takes in clients' preferences very seriously.
"We will have you fill out a form to pinpoint your wants and demands," Symon explains, bringing out the form. Colours, quotes, ribbon and so on – everything is fair deal. And there are endless options of motifs – from four broad genres (Islamic, Oriental, Victorian, and Ethnic), which you can see and select from the catalogues.
"See the decorative horse carriage attached to it," Symon shows one of the cards they recently made. From flamboyance to minimalism, Greetings Studio will not let you down.
"The horse carriage is made of wood, with a lot of attention to detail," he added.
FRAMED!
Greetings Studio specialises on woodwork, but their product is not limited to cards. Their artworks feature a combination of paper and wood. To illustrate, their framed piece on Star Mosque can be used.
Paper makes up for the background, and the mosque itself is made out of wood. "We give much emphasis to the detailing on the wood to bring out the beauty of our artworks. And the wood itself makes the artwork stand out on plain paper, providing a 3D effect!"
Star Mosque is an iconic Islamic architecture in Old Dhaka. Greetings Studio, among other subjects and themes, features Bangladeshi heritage, from monument to rickshaw to 'sampan' to tea garden.
Such items can also be great gift items. And just like cards, these can also be customised. So, to exemplify, you can provide the picture of a person you want to gift to. And the designers will create that through their woodwork.
Greetings Studio also offers photo frames.
