Philatelic exhibition at Adelaide, Australia
Celebrating 50th anniversary of the independence of Bangladesh, a stamp exhibition was organised at the SAPHIL House, Adelaide, South Australia on Saturday, 27 March, 2021. The exhibition showcased the stamps issued by Bangladesh Post Office, with a focus on the issues related to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Organised by Mohammed Monirul Islam, Director (International Affairs), Bangladesh Philatelic Federation (BPF), the event was attended by Bernard Beston, President,
Fédération Internationale de Philatélie — the governing body of international stamp exhibitions. Also present on the occasion were executives from the Australian Philatelic Federation, APF.
