Grand opening of Second Cup Coffee
The largest and most famous coffee brand in Canada "Second Cup Coffee Company" is now in Bangladesh. They had a soft launch of their first outlet at the ground floor of Ahmed Towers in Banani. The Honorable High Commissioner of Canada, Mr.Benoît-Pierre Laramée officially inaugurated the outlet on January 25, 2016 along with other dignitaries of the High Commission.
Second Cup is a proudly Canadian company with over 345 cafés across Canada.It started in specialty coffee retailing in Toronto in 1975 and since has since expanded globally to over 30 countries.
Second Cup offers free Wi-Fi for tech savvy guests, a reading corner for book lovers and patio section for open space lovers. In addition to the café, its product line has also grown from simple whole bean coffee to premium coffees, teas, beverages, frozen yoghurt and complimentary foods including savoury and pastry items as well as handcrafted merchandise.

To celebrate their grand opening, Second Cup Coffee launched the 'Super Saver Midday Deal' and 'Student Deal'.
The first Second Cup International Regional Franchise was established in 2003 in Dubai, and it continues to be a second home to tens of thousands of guests everyday in over 30 regions, including: Abu Dhabi, Angola, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Dubai, Ghana, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Kurdistan, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Rash Al Khaimah, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and Yemen. Switzerland, Finland, France, Russia, India, Malaysia, Sri-Lanka and Nepal will have their "Second Cup" outlet very soon.
