Khaleda's adviser Dudu remanded again
A Dhaka court today placed Shamsuzzaman Dudu, an adviser to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, on a four-day remand in a case filed for blasting a crude bomb in Dhaka.
The case was filed with Mirpur Police Station on January 10 on charge of blasting a crude bomb targeting policemen with an intention to kill them in the city’s Mirpur-10 intersection on the same day.
Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman passed the order when Kamal Hossain, a sub-inspector of Mirpur Police Station and also the investigation officer of the case, produced Dudu before it with a seven-day remand prayer.
Arrested on January 11, Dudu was shown arrested in the case a week later.
