Kamalapur blast kills rail guard
A railway security guard was killed as miscreants hurled a crude bomb at Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital this afternoon.
Abul Kashem, 30, was patrolling on the railway platform around 3:00pm.
He stopped two youths to inspect their bag while they suddenly hurled the crude bomb at him, Sub-Inspector Rafiqul Islam of the Railway Police told The Daily Star.
Kashem died on spot.
Police arrested the two men but no identities could be known immediately.
Railway Minister Mujibul Haque shortly visited the spot and the body of the deceased.
