The overall inflation rate has dropped by 0.06 percentage point to 7.44 percent in February, thanks to the price fall of non-food items.
The inflation rate was 7.50 percent in January last year.

On non-food items, inflation rate dropped by 0.16 percentage point to 6.37 percent last month from 5.53 percent in the previous month, according to data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).
