Gonojagoron Mancha will start road march at 7:30am today from Shahbagh in the capital to Jessore to visit the Hindus who were attacked allegedly by Jamaat-Shibir men at Malopara of Abhaynagar in the district on Sunday night.
The mancha will also hold street rallies at Jahangirnagar University at 10:00am, Manikganj at 11:00am, Modhukhali of Faridpur at 4:00pm and Magura at 5:00pm, spokesperson Imran H Sarkar told a press conference in its temporary tent in Shahbagh yesterday.
He said they would hold another rally at Faridpur's Janata Bank intersection at 3:00pm today.
The marchers will stay in Jessore at night and will start for Malopara at 8:00am tomorrow. They will visit the affected area from 9:00am to 2:00pm in Malopara, he added.
Later, they will hold another rally in front of Chitramor in Jessore at 3:00pm. Then they will start for Dhaka that day.
Jamaat-Shibir men allegedly attacked the Hindus at Malopara and vandalised their houses Sunday night following the end of voting in the 10th national election.
