Godrej, a maker of household and personal care products, yesterday launched its specialist insect killer aerosol—HIT—in Bangladesh.
The product will be available in two sizes: 625ml at Tk 299 and 400ml at Tk 225.
An over 115-year-old firm, Godrej Group owns global brands like Goodknight, Cinthol and Godrej Expert.
As per the estimates of the $4 billion conglomerate, over 500 million people use one or another Godrej product every day, the group said in a statement yesterday.
“Godrej hopes that HIT will keep households of Bangladesh free from all insect problems - be it mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches or ants.”
Goodknight, Cinthol, Godrej No.1 and Godrej Expert Powder Hair Colour are ranked among the “100 Most Trusted Brands” in India by Economic Times - Brand Equity 2013.
