Ershad urges BNP to join with JP
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad today called upon BNP to join with his party as a nationalist force after leaving “the war crimes accused” Jamaat-e-Islam.
"You (BNP chief Khaleda Zia) have announced that you will wage a tough anti-government movement and also said a lot of things regarding this. But you are absent from the streets as you have no strength to forge a movement," the JP boss said.
He was addressing a rally at Mizan Maidan at Feni town on the occasion of the party’s district council.
Ershad, also a special envoy to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, criticised Khaleda saying that she was in power for two times but did not make any development of the country.
