Eight educational institutions of the district have secured positions including the first, second and third ones in the list of top 20 institutions under Rajshahi Education Board that also sees the country's highest 96.34% pass rate according to the SSC results published yesterday.
Bogra Cantonment Public School and College got the first position as all of its 271 candidates got GPA-5.
Bogra Government Girls' School (popularly known by its former name Victoria Memorial School) secured the second position, 251 out of 257 students getting GPA-5.
With 250 GPA-5 achievers out of 262 candidates, Bogra Government Zila School secured the third position.
Other institutions in the top 20 list are BIAM Model School and College (sixth position with 201 GPA-5 holders out of 215 students), Bogra Armed Police Battalion School and College (ninth position with 207 GPA-5 out of 228), Hermann Gmeiner School and College (13th position with 46 GPA-5 out of 47), Police Lines School and College (14th position with 194 GPA-5 out of 220), Palli Unnayan Academy Laboratory School and College (20th position with 123 GPA-5 out of 145 candidates).
