Youth hacked to death

A young man was hacked to death at Shyamkur village in Moheshpur upazila on Friday night.

The deceased was Washim Hossain, 30, son of Idrish Ali Edu Fakir of Anantapur village in the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge Laskar Jaidul Haque of Moheshpur Police Station said informed by locals, police recovered the body from the village and sent it to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Criminals might have killed Washim and dumped the body in the area, said the OC.
