Two get life for murder

A Moulvibazar court yesterday awarded life term imprisonment to two men for a murder committed in Barlekha upazila under the district eleven years ago.

The convicts are Ashar Uddin, 30, son of Abdul Bari of Pukuria village in the upazila, and Somoj Ali, son of Abdul Mutlib of the same village.

Moulvibazar Additional District and Sessions Judge Md Rafiqul Islam pronounced the verdict in the case for killing Harun Mia, said Md Kripasindu Paul, additional public prosecutor of the court.
