Two BCL men held on charge of killing leader

Two Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists were arrested on Tuesday in a case for killing the organisation's Pakshey union president Sadrul Haque Pintu in Ishwardi upazila.

The arrestees are Emon Islam, 22, organising secretary of Shahapur union unit BCL and supporter Toufique Hasan Nur, 20, of Maniknagar village.

Of them, Emon confessed his involvement in the murder before Pabna Judicial Magistrate's Court-1, said Officer-in-Charge of Ishwardi Police Station Md Azim Uddin.
