Two arrested with hemp

Police arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 110 kg of hemp from Badalgachhi upazila of Naogaon on Sunday. 

The arrestees are Abdul Barek, 25, of Chouddagram upazila in Comilla, and Selim Hossain, 40, of Shahrasti upazila in Chandpur.

The law enforcers also seized a Pajero jeep, used for carrying the hemp.

A police team, acting on a tip-off, intercepted a jeep at Balorampur village and recovered 110 kg of hemp from the vehicle, police said.
