The brothers are accused of reorganising the banned outfit

The arrestees are accused in a case filed by the Detective Branch (DB) of police in September last year, on charge of organising JMB activists, said Major Sumon.

Earlier on September 20 last year, the DB raided the house of district JMB chief Joynal Abedin at Erandah the village in Solonga upazila and arrested Joynal among four suspected JMB operatives and recovered 50 jihadi books, 10 cocktails, huge amount of splinters for making bombs, and a packet of gunpowder.

During the drive, Najib, Mamun and Masum fled away from the scene.

“After the incident, DB police filed a case accusing Joynal Abedin and the three absconding brothers. The three arrestees will be sent to jail through the legal procedure," Major Safayet said.
