Question leak: ‘Registration to be revoked if teachers’ link found’
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today said that registration of the educational institutions will be cancelled if any of its teachers found involved in question paper leak.
“Actions will be taken not only against the concerned teacher, the registration of the respective educational institutions will also be cancelled if those are found involved in question paper leakage,” Nahid told the House with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
In reply to lawmakers’ queries, Nahid said: “There is opportunity of leakage of question papers from the Bangladesh Government (BG) Press but some teachers are involved in the question paper leak to embarrass the government.”
In response to a supplementary question, Nahid informed the House that inclusion of Non-MPO schools under the MPO is now under consideration of the government.
The education minister said a policy over formulating an organogram of the educational institutions and MPO has been prepared following the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
On January 1, 2018, the policy was sent to the finance division for getting required opinion and approval, he said.
