Youth's body found

Police recovered a body with eyes gouged out at a field beside a crematorium at Bag Baniajuri village in Ghior upazila yesterday.

“Informed by locals that a youth's body was found, police recovered the body at noon. Eyes of the deceased had been gouged out. The body was sent to 250-bed Manikganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy,” said Rabiul Islam, officer-in-charge of Ghior Police Station.

“It seems that the body was dumped at the spot after killing him in another place. Identity of the youth is yet to be known. We are investigating,” he said.
