World Pharmacists Day observed

Pharmacy department of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University at Santosh in the district organised a colourful procession marking World Pharmacists Day yesterday.

Vice Chancellor Prof Mohammad Alauddin led the procession where the proctor, deans of different faculties, and teachers and students of pharmacy department of the university took part.

International Pharmaceuticals Federation decided to observe World Pharmacists Day in Istanbul in 2009 and since then it is observed on September 25 every year across the world.

Different universities in the country, both public and private, observed the day with this year's theme 'Pharmacists: Your medicines experts'.
