Run vehicles with caution

Speakers at a training workshop and discussion on road safety recently urged the drivers and helpers to run vehicles with caution to ensure road safety.

Patuakhali district administration arranged the meeting at Patuakhali central bus terminal with the help of Patuakhali Bus Owners' Association and district unit Bangladesh Road Transport Labour Union.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Masumur Rahman was the chief guest with Additional District Magistrate Md Nurul Hafej in the chair. Additional Superintendent of Police Mahfuzur Rahman was the special guest.

About 200 drivers and helpers of buses and trucks took part in the training.

Leaflets were distributed among the drivers, helpers and passengers of different vehicles to build awareness on road safety.
