Five boys held for stalking girls
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-12) detained five underage male students from Jaleshwari of Bogura town on charge of stalking girls and driving bikes recklessly.
“Informed that that some boys were disturbing girls near coaching centres, Rab went to the spot around 4:30pm and detained five perpetrators, all aged below 18,” said Major SM Golam Morshed, commanding officer of Rab-12.
“They were found driving motorcycles recklessly, without wearing helmets. They did not have any licenses. We will hand them over to their parents after giving warning,” he said.
Earlier on August 21, Bogura Sadar police detained 32 boys and girls from two parks of the town as the children, wearing school uniforms, were found moving outside during school hours.
Later, they were handed over to parents.
