Fish poisoned dead

Miscreants poisoned to death fish worth around Tk one lakh in a pond at Durakuti Bishbari village in Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila early Saturday.

Safar Ali, a farmer of the village, is the owner of the pond.

Safar said he found the dead fish floating on the water early in the morning.

Safar filed a complaint with Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station in this regard yesterday morning, said Mahfuz Alam, officer-in-charge of the police station.
