Mysterious death of woman

A woman was found dead in her home in Phulbari upazila yesterday.

The deceased was Farzana Begum, 26, wife of Abdus Salam of Shibpur village in the upazila.

According to her family members, the housewife went to bed on Sunday night after taking her dinner. On Monday morning, her family members found her body hanging from the ceiling of her room.

Being informed, police recovered her body and sent it to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital in the district for autopsy.

Phulbari Police Station Inspector (investigation) Abdur Rahman said a GD was filed with the police station regarding the incident.
