Health camp in Pabna
Health services at minimum cost were provided to hundreds of poor and financially insolvent people at a community hospital in Pabna Sadar upazila yesterday.
Nearly 11 hundred people were provided treatment at the camp in Nurpur bypass area of Pabna town.
Dhaka Community Hospital organised the day-long camp in the premises of its Pabna branch.
Dr Kazi Kamruzzaman, chairman of Dhaka Community Hospital Trust, inaugurated the health camp where several specialist physicians provided advice and treatment to the patients.
Dr Kamruzzaman said generally people from the rural areas are not concerned about the necessity of medical check-up.
Dhaka Community Hospital gave specialised treatment to nearly 11 hundred such underprivileged patients at the camp, added the doctor.
