Fourth victim of Ashulia factory fire dies

A female worker, who suffered burn injuries in a factory fire in Ashulia on November 22, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early today, raising the death toll from the incident to four.

Sakina Akter, 20, succumbed at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of DMCH's burn unit around 5:00am, said Bachchu Miah, a sub-inspector of the hospital's police outpost.

At least 26 female workers were injured after the fire broke out at Colour Match BD Ltd in the Girabo area of Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka.
