Faridpur UNO's SIM card cloned

Criminals cloned the SIM card of Faridpur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Prabhansu Som Mohan and tried to use it for fraudulence on Sunday.

“Three engineers, a tahsildar, and an administrative officer of our office received call from my mobile number before iftar on Sunday. The caller asked them to send money through mobile money transfer service bKash,” said the UNO.

“After being informed, I understood that my SIM was cloned and told the OC of Sadar Police Station about it,” he added.
