Don’t harass expats at airport: Minister
State Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed has warned strongly against harassment of expatriates at airports.
“Action will be taken against harassment of expatriates,” he told officials during a sudden visit at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport last midnight.
Recommending to bring the service desk of expatriate welfare ministry at the forefront, he said: “Expatriates should be given the highest services”.
During the visit, the minister visited the expatriate welfare desk, passenger terminals, customs checking points and other areas and spoke to officials.
