CJ urges new generation to follow Vivekananda
Chief Justice SK Sinha today urged students to work with honesty and realistic dreams along with their studies for the welfare of mankind.
The young generation should follow the spirit and ideology of Swami Vivekananda (an Indian Hindu monk in 19th century), so that they become inspired to work for the betterment of society without cherishing any interest and expectation, he said.
He made the remarks while addressing as chief guest at a function on the occasion of first reunion of ex-students of Vivekananda Bidyarthibhaban (students’ dormitory) of Ram Krishna Mission in Dhaka.
Vivekananda Bidyarthibhaban’s former students’ first reunion celebration committee organised the daylong function at Ram Krishna Mission premises.
The chief justice said though terrorism is running with religion across the world now, Swami Vivekananda had long ago said all religions are alike.
Swami Vivekananda had encouraged the young generation to be devoted to education and religion, so that they do not get derailed, he said.
Chief Justice SK Sinha also said the amity and friendship, which belonged to the students of Vivekananda Bidyarthibhaban, should be spread among the students of other dormitories to put an end to their conflicts and clashes.
