Bullet-hit body recovered

A bullet-hit body of an alleged robber was found under a bridge on Monday at Luterchar of Meghna upazila.

Meghna Police Station Officer-in-Charge ASM Samsuddin saidthe deceased, Jahangir, 35, son of Abul Hashem of Boro Baipara village of the upazila, was wanted in several robbery cases under different police stations. 

Locals said they called the police after they found a body lying in muddy water under the Luterchar bridge. Later, police recovered the body.

The body bore marks of three bullet injuries in chest, right hand and left leg.
