Bullet-hit body recovered

The bullet-hit body of an alleged criminal was recovered from a field at Saranpur in Monirampur upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased was Raju Sarder, 35, son of Rabiul Sarder of Krishnanagar village in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore.

Raju was an accused in 26 cases with Jhikargachha Police Station. He was a terror in the upazila, said Abu Saleh Md Masud Karim, officer in-charge of the police station.
