Bhashani Univ students' agitation on

Students of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) in Tangail continued their agitation on the campus for the second consecutive day yesterday to press home their five-point demand.

They took out a procession around 10:00am and started agitation in front of the administrative building, burning tyres.

They kept the gates of the administrative building, all the academic buildings, dormitories and a branch of Sonali Bank locked for several hours before leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League calmed them.

As a result, the admission seeking students and their guardians from different places across the country faced untold sufferings.
