45-yr-old man arrested for raping a kid

A 45-year-old man was arrested yesterday on charge of raping an 11-year-old girl in Baliakandi upazila of Rajbari.

The arrestee is rickshaw-van puller Abul Kashem of Baliakandi upazila.

“Kashem stopped the girl when she was returning home from her father's field and forcibly took her to a lonely place and raped her,” said Baliakandi Police Station Duty Officer Md Ibrahim Hossain.
