2 youths’ bullet-hit bodies recovered in Jessore
Police recovered bullet-hit bodies of two unidentified young men from separate parts in Jessore town early today.
Informed, a team of police rushed to Poura Park area around 2:30am and recovered the body of a young man, said Sheikh Elias Hossain, officer-in-charge of Jessore Kotwali Police Station.
A motorcycle without any number plate was also recovered from the spot, the OC said.
After 15 minutes, the same police team recovered another bullet-riddle body from Natun Haat area on the Jessore-Benapole highway.
The bodies were sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital (JMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Contacted, Dr Kajol Kanthi Mollik, duty doctor at the JMCH emergency ward, confirmed that bodies of two youths were taken to the hospital. The victims might have been killed about an hour ago, the doctor said.
