Woman dies after being run over by train

A woman died after being run over by a train in Chandra area of Gazipur's Kaliakoir upazila yesterday morning.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

SM Rakibul Islam, in-charge of Joydevpur Railway Police Outpost, said a train hit the woman around 6:00am, leaving her dead on the spot.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College morgue for an autopsy.
